My work in this series explores how color and texture can immerse the viewer in the elegant beauty I see in our natural environment. Each square is constructed and machine quilted to batting before sewing the sections together. The completed top is then secured with additional stitching through the backing fabric, resulting in a very flat and straight hanging piece of art work.
